Our Mission

Secure the resources needed to realize the full scientific potential of Rubin Observatory’s Legacy Survey of Space and Time, and to develop and implement innovative programs that position a diverse community of researchers to make cutting-edge scientific discoveries.

 

LSSTC’s work is guided by our core values:

This Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, including for such purposes, distributing to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under § 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
